In my opinion there hasn't been a good wrestling game since the awesome N64 AKI developed WWF/WCW gems. Those games were total riots with 4 players. I'll give this demo a shot.

Agreed, although that was back during my high school years when I actually liked wrestling. My brother and I would have great times with those games.

I may download this demo just to see what the graphics look like, but for no other reason.

yea man those games were AWESOME.

the last wrestling game that I liked was Smackdown (not sure which version, but it may have been the first one) on PS2. the create a player feature was just awesome. you could make em look pretty damn close to what you really look like. my friend made like 20 of us in the game and it was hilarious to fight eachother. the control and stuff was great too.

Ya, I had a friend who lived with me when one of the Smackdown games came out (may be the same exact one you are speaking of).....this was in the summer of 2001. He would sit for hours and make damn good replicas of our circle of friends. One in particular looked exactly like the guy in real life. It was funny because this guy wore a particular orange shirt ALL the time, and they had the same exact shirt in the game....it was uncanny. It looked exactly like him during the entrance and while fighting in the ring, it was great. Not to mention the rest of us looked almost dead on 😀.

ah man these posts bring back some good memories. Me and my brother LOVED WCW vs. NWO. All of the WCW/WWF wrestling games on the N64 got SO much playing time from me.
I used to love beating my brother down with a chair and not letting him get up 😛

Ya, this was a PS2 game. I remember my entrance, I came in running towards the ramp, and then fall down like a big goof 😀. I remember it because the aforementioned orange shirt guy picked the same exact freaking entrance out of the dozens on there.....this was after seeing my entrance more than a few times.

Ahhh, good times . My friend that made us would go through and make a ton of the older wrestlers as well. He was damned good at it.

I would still rather play the n64 wrestling games than anything that came out since.
