Have been playing it for the last hour. It feels just different enough from Trials 2 to be a fresh experience, and the skill games are actually a lot of fun. Of course it's been dumbed down a bit for the console crowd, but anybody who didn't expect that should get their foresight checked.

I'm a bit disappointed that there's no side-by-side multiplayer (or any multiplayer at all), but some of the tracks are set up in such a way that two players could race at the same time. No doubt it was pulled to be released as DLC.

This game is sick.

Anyone know how many levels there are? Think I'm gonna buy the full version tonight

I love Trials 2 on the PC, so I'll definitely be getting this one.

I noticed that it's showing as $10 on Amazon but not available yet. How long is it typically before new XBLA releases are available for purchase through Amazon?

Downloaded the trial of Trials (LOL). Very fun! I'm going to get the full version on Friday. Nice price on this too, it's better than a lot of full priced games.

I got in a little on this yesterday and this is a highly addicting game. One of those games that is easy to learn but hard to master and has you wanting to pull everything off perfectly. There were a couple of jumps where I would keep doing it over and over because I could nail the jump with no flip or even 1 flip but I wanted to nail it with two flips. :)

Soon as I get a MS points card for a discount, I'm picking this up. Probably the least hyped and most underrated of the 'Summer of Arcade' titles. A sleeper if you will. :)

Dud I bought the full version and got to one of the medium trials and literally played the same little challenge for 2 hours straight. Still never got gold but I finally got silver with no crashes throughout the course. This is one I'll play for a long time trying to perfect.

Great game (I also have trials 2 on steam)... but I'm a little disappointed that there's no community sharing of custom tracks, you can only share on your friends list. That's a bummer.

LOVE this game.

The roommates and I played this for hours last night. We've got mostly golds on medium now... Platinums are TOUGH.

finally got around to checking this out. lots of fun. i'm on the hard levels and i'm struggling to get anything over a bronze on most of them.

i got stuck on one last night. it ends with the two big "wire" balls where you have to land on the first and roll it to the second. after spending half an hour on it, i still can't make the transition to the second ball. :( so i went to bed. i guess i'll try again tonight. any tips for that one?

Jump completely over the first ball and land on the second ball then jump to the ramp.

maybe i'm using the wrong bike .. i've never made it to the second ball. i've rolled the first ball over to the second, but i'm usually too far forward and i can't get the front tire up on the second ball. my plan was to stay towards the back of the first ball until it touches the second, then wheelie and hop to the second ball. never works out that way, though. took me forever just to get past the rail car before it. i think i lucked out on that one. i fell off the rail car, but i had enough speed that i was able to bounce on top of the tracks without falling in.

now that i'm thinking about it, all i want to do is leave work and try to beat it. my day is now shot. this game is like crack.

The extreme levels are of such a difficulty that it makes them not even fun to play for me.

yah, i noticed that the difficulty ramps up really fast. the beginner and easy, i breezed through with golds. medium, i had a few golds, but mostly silver and maybe a bronze. on hard, i'm lucky just to get a bronze. it's both fun and frustating, through. i gave up on the steel balls for now. i'm stuck on another one where it's a long drop and you land on a ramp of tires. i'm having trouble not bouncing off of them.

play inferno 2 on extreme. level took me prolly like 6 hours to beat and 2500 reset. total play time for it.

i ran out of time twice. and reset twice.
max time is 30min max reset is 500.

that is not a fun level... ugh...

when i finally beat it i think it was 15min and 144 resets...
one of the extreme levels i beat in 25 min and 464 resets...

what bike do you guys stick with? i seem to bounce between the medium and the hard 250cc bike. the medium one is obviously much easier to control, but alot of times, i find it doesn't have the acceleration to make the short run-up jumps.

tried it with the hard two-fiddy cc bike (scorpion, i think) and nailed it on the 10th try or so. made it through most of the hard levels .. still have 2 left. tried an extreme level. didn't get past the first obstacle. talk about insane.

i think the only one left to unlock is the 60cc "donkey".

i wish they allowed some suspension tuning. the hard-skill 250cc is great except that the suspension is soo bouncy. how about some shocks to go along with the springs?

i think i'm gonna have to watch some videos to figure out the extreme levels. they should have named that category "ultimate frustration".

but i keep going back.
