find a roommate that is ok w/you not talking to him or being his friend. he's just there to pay 1/2 the rent.

u stay in your room, he stays in his.

been doing that for 3 years. i'm on my 2nd roommate. working fine so far...

oh, separate bathrooms, and separate phone lines are a MUST!

should I live on my own again, or get a roomate?

living on my own is nice.. the freedom and all... getting a roomate saves me $$$.. but I am afraid we wont go that well..

sooo.... any reccomendations?
my vote is for getting a roomie. some people don't mind being hermits or loners. i'd rather have someone around.

if you have been living alone and like it thatn I stay stick with it. Some people cant handle ebing alone, but if it works for you, then you wont have to deal with the hedaches of roommates

damn, where do you live? College park... 500-700 per bedroom on average if you're sharing. One bedroom... I've seen 750, but there's no where to park a car, otherwise a min of ~900.

I'll stick with my orig idea to try to find a place where you can rent out a basement or something along those lines. Don't know about you, but I really don't like living in just one room (IE the bedroom when living with a roommate). Just moved out of a situation like that.

i'd vote get a room mate if the room mate is a friend of yours, otherwise i'm leaning towards saying live alone.

it depends on your age and whether you're in a long term relationship.

I have roommates and they're great. None of us have long term commitments, but we're all 23 so that's a factor..
