Little quirk with add/remove programs in xp

Hi,

This is my first post here and I have a little problem. I was told by a friend to ask here as he'd always received god info from here
Im running XP pro SP2 and I noticed today that my add/remove programs window is behaving oddly. It lists my programs in alphabetical order but when it gets to the programs in the D range, it then inserts a huge "black out" so that I have to page down about 20 times to see the next program which are then all listed as normal for the rest of the alphabetical sequence.

Its not a major bug but now that I know its there (and it doesnt go away - this condition is true for my admin and limited user acounts) I can't stop thinking about it lol. So much so that I'm tempted to do a rebuild if I can't get it to go away

I'm hoping someone here may have seen this before and would be kind enough to offer some insight.

Well, I should have googled a tad before asking for help. Problem fixed!!

Turns out the problem was the default install folder location for FileChecker.

Can you eleaborate?

I have same issue and never could find a fix that worked.

[Mine happens in the W's right after Windows Remote Client.]
