Artists have been doing similar things in NY since the '60s.

Can't remember the guy's name but he used to build tiny dwellings (half the size of a brick) and put them in inconspicuous places throughout the city.

That is sooo cool.. but i will admit that when i saw "little people" I thought I was going to see art by Little People.
