This show looks to be trash that the CBC shouldn't be spending money on. I guess some people like it because it pokes fun at hick white people (I do that too, I'll admit), but it is the same type of humour that shows beneath the petty Canadian "I look down upon Americans" attitude that exists.

I don't understand how it shows the "I look down upon Americans" attitude that the Queen-worshipping Canadians have. This show takes place in Canada.

WTF? Do you even watch CBC regularly? After seeing a few episodes of Corner Gas, this actually looks funny!

It uses the same kind of humour. Oh look, some hillbillys think this Muslim is a terrorist! Haw-haw. Oh look, that American thinks we live in igloos! Haw-haw. The CBC should be sold off... why do we have a public broadcaster competing with private broadcasters?
