Little league pitcher looks to be 14 not 12 but get this.

Hehe, the age of the pitcher isn't really a surprise... back in the days when LB were the little league champs (thanks to Pitcher/Power hitter Sean Burroughs, who is now in the San Diego Padres organization) there were other nations that would throw in 15 year olds in place... they were quickly caught though - as in this situation. It's amazing what some people would go through to win! Little League really is life for some of these people :|

As far as the mother is concerned... Hmmm...

Looks like she's sticking by this story as much as she can, why? So it doesn't look sick that she had her son when she was only 15, and so that she doesn't get into any legal litigations... smart woman.. too bad for her the PIs are smarter 😉

Well, it said the dad is 36 now. If you back that to 1989 or 1987, he's still 24 or 22. That should be grounds for statutory rape shouldn't it?

How do you look your age, when looking your age is merely a conceptual example that is put into context through the eye of the beholder - who says, "You look your age" to you?

A little 5 year old can say you look your age, w/o even knowing it, and he/she would still be saying right? But would it be accurate as a person who is the same age as you saying it? Or would it be as accurate as an elderly person who has lived through an era? 😉

They might if the mother was going to charge him, but they are not going to charge the father with statuatory rape just to prove that some kid's age qualifies him to play in the league or not.
 
Does it really matter how old he is? The fact is that he is a great pitcher. He will be a major league stud...unless some devastating injury to his pitching arm... But he has the stuff to be the next Randy Johnson like most people say. And by the way...most people lie about their ages and are never able to determine their ages, especially those from latin american countries. Look at all the controversies surrouding Adrian Beltre and his age!

stud in 12 year old doesn't mean stud in 14 year old

those 2 years are a HUGE difference in playing ability. He would probably be average in a 14 year old league.
