This video was encoded with Windows Media Video 9. They might have had even better results using Windows Media Video Screen 9 (customized for displaying mostly static images/screens). WM9 owns DivX :D


What kind of software would you use to make something like that, and would a PII 400 laptop be sufficient to do it
They probably could have made this on Windows Movie Maker 2 (which comes with Windows XP). It runs reasonably enough on my system to play with, but it is fairly slow.

That video itself was awesome. Some sweet pictures there. Makes me appreciate North America a bunch more.
