Little help with home networking.

I bought a Netgear ethernet hub several several years ago. My brother and myself used it to play games and share the internet. I know have a machine with coyote linux hooked up so it effectively made the hub a router. I have since then moved to college where I bought myself a Netgear wireless-g router. I still want wireless at home during Christmas so I brought it home and hooked it up to the hub. So I have the coyote linux coming into one port on the hub, my bro's pc in another port, my mom's pc in another port, and finally my wireless router in the last port. My pc is hooked up through one of the ports on the wireless router. The internet works fine with the wireless router but I am having one problem. I am wanting to share files and my printer over the network but my computer is not seen on my bro's and mom's computers. How do I make it where my pc will show up in their workgroup?

I went to set up a home and small office network under windows xp network places. then just make a name for your computer. when it asks for the name of the lan, just give it the name that corresponds to that that the other computers are connected to.

Are all computers on the same subnet? Everyone added to the same workgroup? Another item to look into the File and Printer Sharing service, ensure this service is installed. Also, if you're running SP2 make sure that Windows lovely firewall is not enabled.

I have pretty much the exact same setup and am experiencing the same problem as you. I'm guessing it has something to do with the Belkin wireless router's firewall protection. But I don't know too much about it to fix it yet.
