Little help with a Mac issue...

Quick question. I'm working with a Macintosh G4 on a Viewsonic Pf775 Monitor. The problem is this. The Mac loads a monitor profile based on which monitor you have plugged into the computer on startup. The profile for my monitor, however, seems to have been somehow adjusted as to make it "not work". If I start the computer with any other monitor attached, it loads the profile for that monitor and the thing works just fine. Hence the question: How can I set it so my default profile is for one of the other monitors so it doesn't use the bad profile. Sorry if that makes no sense, heh. Thanks.
