Little help? Need to know how to say this name

So i've been riding the train with this girl i met at work, and i know how her name is spelt

Tonia

BUT...i've yet to hear it be pronounced (she knows my name from my nametag)

I know it'd be easy to say "how do you say your name again?" but i'd feel bad doing so

Anyway, i think it's "tan ya" like one would think..but it *could* be "ton y ia" or something

tawn ya that is how i would say it. just say it really fast that way if you say it wrong she won't catch it!

well, that's worked for 3 days already!

tomorrow i shall call her "metro buddy" (since we ride the metro)

i guess i can find someone who might know her and ask how she says her name...else i might just break down and ask right at the source

oh well, tan-ya was what i was thinking anyway!

You can even put a SLIGHT hint of a Ton-ee-ah just on the off chance she likes it pronounced that way but I think it's basically ton-ya'.
