OK all you apple peeps need to help me out. Never messed with the ibooks and I have a client who wants me to setup a Wireless network in his home for his 2 daughters ibooks.

So do I use the same Wireless equipment as I would with a PC setup??

Sorry if it seems ridiculous but never fooled the apple stuff but have done lots of PC wireless set ups.

Thanks for the help in advance.

It's pretty simple: Get 2 Apple Airport 802.11b cards for the 2 iBooks. Then, get them whatever access point you want that supports 802.11b. You can go for Apple's airport access point, or you can use pretty much any of the others that have web configuration. You may need to install the wireless software on the ibooks but after that you just configure the wireless networks, WEP keys, etc. like anything else. :)

Thanks.

So I guess the best choice would be the Airport Extreme Card HERE

And the Airport Extreme Base HERE.

Right??

No not necessarily. You will need the airport card for sure, but any wireless router will work, so you can save some coin if you go with say a NNetgear MRV814.
