Efficiency has nothing to do with power output.Originally posted by: barbaroja9
Well, I checked Newegg´s specs for both PSUs efficiency and made a simple calculation, but I don´t know If it is a good way for looking at it. here it is:
Seasonic 380W x 0.85 (Ef) = 323W
Enermax 400W x 0.80 (Ef) = 320W
If you guys think my calcs are well made, maybe the Seasonic is the winner for quiet operation, not for wattage, those 3 watts more are not a point of comparison.
Any words about OC with these?
Any thoughts?
Thanks!

That's from jonnyguru's website, concerning the enhance 5140gh. The enhance's ripple was 30mV, that's excellent!Ripple is measured at the load by an USB Instruments Stingray DS1M12 . Instead of using the Stingray with probes to measure ripple, I actually use the Stingray as a medium between the data being spit out by the SunMoon load tester and my laptop. Each change in voltage is collected and reported every .2ms. The time divide on the graphs is 2ms (every square being 2ms) The voltage scale on the graph is .05V, or 50mV. As we can see from the results of the ENP-5140GH, even under the greatest load the voltage doesn't move enough to fill even half of a box.
