Little guidance on rebuilding my system

I currently have a Dell 8250 p4 2.8 1 gig pc1066 < 4 x 256> about to recieve a x800pro thanks Ragnorak2, hard drives etc etc. Im looking to pull the parts from my current system and build a new box. What im looking for a is good motherboard that will support 1. the cpu 2. the video card <agp version> and 3. the pc1066 memory i have< must have 4 slots so i can use the 1gig of mem i have. Anyone have any suggestions on a good motherboard? im a gamer for the most part and also would like a decent linux compatible board for tweaking and such.

Thanks in advance

haha thats what I noticed when I googled dell 8250. 512MB of rambus ram. Im assuming you bought a new motherboard since you have 1GB of ram? Just tell us the socket and I'll see what I can come up with
