little excel to word help

I'm trying to import a table from excel to word and when it gets to word the formatting is AFU when I look at the print preview...perhaps a slight bit of help please.

It's kind of difficult to troubleshoot just from a screenshot. Not sure what's going on.

Keep in mind that when copying and pasting, MS Office will automatically select the least appropriate format for the import.

Did you import as an Excel object or as a Word table?
