"little" cd media (those ones smaller than standard cdr media)

i don't know the dimensions and don't feel like looking it up, but it's the cds one size smaller that fit in the smaller groove in the cd-tray...i believe this is the size that slot loading roms can't read..

anyway, are they purchasable anywhere?...for consumers in non gigantic quantities?...can a standard cdrw write on these?

i want a couple of them to substitute floppies instead of the larger full-sized cds...

Yeah, Memorex make them. I saw them at a computer show a couple of weeks ago. Here in the UK they are starting to be used as business cards!!

😉

Last time I looked they went for like 75 cents each, which is a rip when a full size CD is 10 cents. But if more people buy, maybe they will be cheaper.

75 cents?....is this for the cdr?...cuz i want the cdrw, as it's intended to replace floppy disks...i need to write to it numerous times....i could just stuff them in my pocket...perhaps put them in zip disk cases or something similar...

i took my floppy drive outta the system last month....SCRAP.
