Somewhere around 6-7 PM, my brother took a little spaceship toy and THREW IT at my fvcking LCD MONITOR (Samsung Syncmaster 710N).

Here is the PIC

So... I guess this isn't covered in the warranty? WTF am I supposed to do?
Is this repair-able ? If so, how much (average) would it cost?

If he is 3, then I would discuss the replacing of the monitor with the parents, as well as discussing banning him from your room.

Well, it is probably covered under homeowner's insurance but the deductible is probably more than the monitor itslef. If its only the top glass, you might be able to get it replaced but it would probably be more to your benifit to sell it as-is on eBay. Somebody could probably use the panel for a overhead projector or something. If is messed up totally, I doubt there is much you could do. Also, what program/programs do you use more that neat desktop?

Also, i don't mean to pry, but studies shown that extended TV (and probably CS) for infants and young children can really hurt development. Now lets pray he doesn't use his elite CS skills on you in your sleep.
