either way I'm probably buying it at launch.

It comes with a 12-hour single player game. Plus looking at Garry's Mod etc, freaks will have plenty of time to make new levels that I will just download.

well i was not away it's supposed to be 12 hours, which in reality probably is quite a bit shorter.
but what are these single player levels like? is it just a puzzle game like get from point A to point B using their physics engine? or are their enemies and bosses?
i guess it's more that sony is marketing this game as pretty much just a user created content type of game, whereas that's pretty much all they've shown.
How long does the game take to complete, if you just focus on completing the developer-made levels?
It takes me [Jim Unwin, interface designer] about 12 hours to complete all the levels, and I've been developing the game for the past however-many months. So expect it to take a bit longer than that.

It takes the developer 12 hours to beat the game, so it will probably be a little longer for everyday people:

The game itself looks like a story-driven platformer.

As cool as it sounds, I cant help but think that the majority of user created levels are likely to be penis based.

And what part of the Washington Monument dedicated to George Washington resembles George Washington? It looks like a giant cock.
