I discovered litestep a little over 3 years ago.At first it seemed like a good idea but man it took me forever to realize how slow it was flaky even compared to the master of flakiness--win98se&winme explorer.
I was wondering if anyone else had similar experiences

I used litestep on 98 a few years ago. It was like a typical blonde: pretty, but very flakey. I tried it earlier this year on XP, and no improvements had been made whatsoever. It's not worth the effort.

I discovered Litestep about 3 years ago as well. I mainly ran it on my WinNT 4.0 machine back then, and then W2K and now on WinXP..I had stopped using it for a while when it was tough getting new themes and modules. Package wise, it isn't as far advanced as it would have been if the movement was as strong as it was about a year or so ago..but still if you spend some time with it, it surely is capable of getting it to be pretty stable and useful..Regards

I used to love litestep. The default installation sucked, but after alot of tweaking it rocked. I'd still be using it but it just doesnt appeal to me any more. It was great while it lasted.
