Litestep rocks. . . *update with screenshot*

I said what the heck and downloaded the latest litestep.

I remember I tried it way back on my win98 system a LONG time ago and it borked it and was hard to understand. It is a breeze now.

I love the usability, it is like have fluxbox on windows 😉

Just had to share.

**UPDATE***
Per request a desktop shot:

I went through a phase a while back where I tried it and also Aston Shell. Didn't like either (and I like Gnome on linux).

I have never been able to get that program to work. Every time I tried, I ended up formatting or close to it..

Even though I probably was doing something wrong.... I'll never do it again.

The problem I had was that the interface, mainly the taskbar, would always pop up or flash every other frame whenever I played games, which of course was unacceptable. Is that problem still there?

Isn't this a bit too on-topic for off-topic?

I've done what you've done. I think this guy made it much easier. YMMV, though.

I've been running it for a week now, and honestly, I find it much more intuitive. Explorer does not run at all after this is installed, also. Have not had one crash, nor do I find it unstable. YMMV as usual.

Took the link down as it is no longer working for some reason?

I'm a limited gamer, however I can tell you that it does not occur with either Flightgear, X-Plane, or FS2004 (yea I like flight sims). . .
