Hastings Music stores has the LiteOn It LVW5005 DVD Recorder for $169 and a $30 dollar MIR bringing the final price down to $139. Our local Hastings only had one in stock so I wouldn't waste any time. I checked with Ecost/Memphis $262 and Amazon was $223. I have been watching this item for a couple of months and I thought this price was a mistake but pleased to find it was right on from LiteOn.
 
There is also a unadvertised $20 rebate form that will print out at the same time the $30 rebate form does. ( Thanks to "Alnp137" at the FatWallet Hot Deal forum for this info.)

I purchased the LVW 5005 this morning and I can confirm this. The only problem is both ask for the original UPC so YMMV.
