LITEON 24x10x40 (LTR-24102B): Can it copy Safedisc1-protected cds?

Exactly what the title says. I need to know if the LiteOn 24x10x40 is capable of copying Safedisc1-protected cds.

This is for backup purposes of course. 😉

AFAIK it will copy all present versions of SD!

So basically if I use 16x approved media and copy 16x on-the-fly, it should work without any errors, right?

Technically you can. But for SafeDisc, and any other copy-protected CDs, it's just safer to extract the image first instead of doing it on-the-fly. If anything happens you won't screw up your media.

Thanks. I'll use the cd-copy wizard of Nero, and deselect "Fast Copy". The LiteOn hopefully should not disappoint! (So far I have made over 15 cds with my LiteOn with no coasters).
