i need a cd burner for under 100 and found this on newegg for 87 dollars. is it a good drive? anything better for the price?? tia
 
From what I've heard it is a very reliable drive, and it has BURN-Proof to boot! For that price I don't think you'll find anything better.
 
I bought mine rebadged as a Buslink, and have had no problems whatsoever with it. Haven't found any software it wouldn't work with, haven't had a bad burn... No complaints.
 
I have both Lite-On and AOPEN 12x 10x 32x is about the same price. It also included Nero.

This drive also has justlink same as burnproof.

It also has extra 2meg buffer more than Lite-On.

I just sold the Lite-ON drive because it looked so ghetto with my computer.
 

i have burned over 750CDs with the LiteON 12x burner since i got the drive in late January. no bad burns yet.... i am totally amazed!!
