Yes, they do, probably a 12 month deal.

I RMA'd a Lite-on combo drive that refused to read DVDs of any kind, including pressed ones.

Like the previous poster said, yes they do have the warranty but see how cheap they are I prefer just to get a new drive.

lite-on has a good war. but you may have to pay the shipping to get it there for them to look at it. insured shipping can be almost as many $$ as a new drive

I personally buy extended warranties for my opticals, since it's far easier & usually cheaper to get it replaced locally than having to ship it out.
It usually ends up in nice upgrades for me :) since they won't have the same model anymore, & i get the next one up.
