Lite-on ssd firmware?

at work I have a dell precision m4600. This has a lite-on LAT-128M2S drive in it. From some research I have figured out this is the exact same drive as the Plextor PX-128m2s drive. Now here is the problem. Plextor seems to release more firmware, and I can get a more up to date firmware release from them. however, when I try to run it, it says the drive I have does not match so it will not apply the update. Does anyone know where to get lite-on firmware updates or am I just screwed?
