Lite-On Idetification

So, how do you tell if a cdrw is a lite-on or not? its the serial number i know, but what numbers?

if it has LTR or LTD in the beginning of the serial number, it's a lite on

I've got two Lite-On drives, a CD-RW (rebadged Pacific Digital) and a DVD (actual Lite-On) and it the bios, one is identified as a Lite-On and the other as a LiteOn. I just found the adbsence of the "-" interesting. I forget which one is which though, I think the DVD may be "LiteOn"...
