Alright, so just the other day I went to use my CD drive but it said it wasn't ready, and it wasn't the discs I was trying as it happened with multiple clean discs. After this, I rebooted and the CD drive opened. I shut it, it read for about 1.5 seconds, and reopened, and it has been constantly doing this. I've shut it down when it closes and switched the IDE cables and whatnot, taken the power chord out... but I just can't figure it out. Is it possible my lite on is just dead?
