Lite-On 32x12x40 CDRW

My old HP 10x4x32 just but the dust, there is a local store where I can pick up a Lite-On 32x12x40 (32123) for $90. Anyone have any experience with this drive?
Thanks

My Lite-On 32x 12x 40x CD-RW has a couple of weeks 🙂

It's very quiet, fast and it hasn't toasted any CD-R yet.

I've burned Data CD's, Audio CD's, SVCD's, XVCD's and all r in perfect shape.

I've had my 32x Lite On for about a month and have burned close to 100 cd's with no errors (knock on wood!) including data, music, cd to cd, etc. I really like it and highly recommend it! For the price vs. performance it's hard, if not impossible to beat!

Replaced a Plextor 16x10x40 with this drive. I love it. Liteon does very well in reviews. I'm starting to believe this Plextor thing is a blind, religious devotion thing. I had one - it was great - but the Liteon is frankly just as good and cost me much less.

OK, all you fanatics that bow to the icon of Plextor let me have it! I got rid of mine. Please don't strap explosives to your chest over this issue.
