Having trouble copying files to CD. Using Win2k. If I'm in Nero I can burn just fine. But if I'm in windows and try to copy files by right-clicking and selecting the send-to option I get a message saying that files in this cd drive are read-only. So windows isn't recognizing that's it's a CD-RW??? Am I missing something???

There is another thread that says WinXP does not support this burner with direct burning from within Windows. May be the same with Win 2k. You should be able to find it by doing a search (I just saw it yesterday). Actually, I wasn't even aware Win 2k supported this at all (with any burner)?

Well the problem I described happens with a CD-R. But I have had problems with CD-RW discs too. After I format the CD-RW with InCD it says the disc can be used as a large floppy disk. If I try to use this disc in Nero it spits it out. If I try to use it in Quicken to back that up it says there is no disc in the drive. So the only way I can copy to a CD is to a CD-R disc in Nero.

And I did download and install the latest version of InCD.
