Lite-On 12X8X32X burnproof CD-RW is a success!!

I am just posting this to let people know that it is a good unit especially for the price. It is CloneCD and Nero compatible and I have not made a coaster with it yet (out of 30ish) I have been able to burn at full speed without errors.

They do not get alot of press, but I have been very happy with it.

i definitely agree with you. i have one here at work and i am using EZCD creator (cause no one else knows how to use anything else such as NERO). i have probably burned at least 500 CDRs since the end of January 2001. not one error so far or one bad disc. (knock on wood)
this LITEON drive has totally earned my respect.

It's not a burner but I purchased a 32x Lite-On CD Rom (Digital
Research brand) 2 years ago and it's the best I've ever had...
(That includes Panasonic and Sony....)

I'll have to agree with you.... Lite-on = Right-on! Far better drive than my Acer 2X2X6 that I paid an arm and a leg for 2 years ago. Burns media that makes my Acer hiccup.

I will have to concur, I bought one for my second machine and I must say that I am impressed with it, especially for $95!!!
