Lite-c programming ~need help~

Hi everyone I am taking a class to create a game using lite-c programming I am trying to create more levels in my game but i am unsure how to transfer to my next level and cant find a way to in the manual. What I want to do is create a portal or path from level 1 to level 2 ect. using a sprite. The game is a maze and its nearly complete i just need to have the ball I am using to run into a sprite and have it transfer back to the menu screen or go into level 2. I appreciate any help anyone can give or if you have an idea better than mine to make a transition. Thanks!
