Really finding this forum useful.. and i m getting lot of cracking answers here..
The question i m asking is not useful as such but i just want to know how they do it..
As i m workig for a phone tech support (PC ) line. For some of the issues regarding the OS crash we genrally run recovery console chkdsk or repair installation of windows XP .Most of the times it works but if it fails we hv to reinstall everything from scratch.
But i hv learned from some microsoft support people that they DISABLE some of the services from recovery console and it works some time.
Although there is a command called listsvc to list all the services .
Can u explain me about it...
