Listening to Pandora

is it me or do stations on Pandora not mix up the music much?

I subscribe to a couple of 'genre' stations (classic rock/ depeche mode are the names, specifically) & it seems like they play the same 5 - 7 bands (diff songs) over and over again.

Any way to fix that?

Yes.

Your like/dislike responses will change what music the channel plays.

Pandora is WIN.

I don't even know what Slacker is. I use Pandora so much that I don't care, either. 😛

Pandora has a team of 60 musicians that listen to every single song and tag them based on the technical side of musicianship. Then they have this incredible algorithm that matches what you like and don't like.

If Pandora had a wang, I would polish it.

Pandora gets better and better the longer you listen to it (and add groups you like & click dislike on songs you don't like.) I couple probably listen to it for 24 hours and not hear a song more than once or twice, and not have to click "dislike" more than once or twice either. Although, occasionally it plays songs I like, but am not in the mood to listen to. Oddly, it seems that if I skip 2 or 3 songs in a row, that problem doesn't continue.
