Listening to Bush makes me illl

Good night! His speech and wrangling of the language is making me ill.

If Kerry can't win this debate he outta simply quit.

Bush is not making much progress nor does he even appear to be in the same league with Kerry.

I support him but Sheesh.....

I think his passion plays well, but he's coming off as impatient and petulant IMO. He seems frustrated and angry, to the point that it's taking away from his effectiveness.

EDIT: Did you hear him saying that, while dealing with an OIF widow, he tried to "love her as best I can"? LOL.

I don't think either is a great debater. Kerry comes off as stiff, and almost too smart for his own good. President Bush doesn't sound, well, presidential to me. At least he made it 45 minutes before his first real Bushism (he just described how, while spending time with an OIF widow, he tried to "love her as best I can").

I'm watching the debate and I've come to a conclusion:

Kerry answers his questions.

Bush asnwers with "Blah...blah blahblah.... blah.. can't change position......blah blah blah... blah..." Every damn questions, or every damn time he speaks.

I'm watching the c-span webcast...they have a splitscreen setup, with it adjusted so that bush and kerry seem the same height. however, bush's side is so zoomed in his podium takes up the bottom third of the screen. kinda silly looking...

so much for bush's team not wanting the podium's close together.

Kerry answers and looks like Lurch...both seem heavily scripted and rather fake. If bush were a more natural speaker I feel he would be destroying kerry even though his responses are not very concise.
