ok, I'm trying to do the below but I have no idea how to do it/where to go to learn how to do it.

Basically I have someone who wrote a simple program that sends packets to my servers ip, on a specified port.

I want to be able to see what data he's passing. Can anyone please explain to me how to listen/see/read what he's passing?

I have strong programming skills, but just not so familiar with network things, so if a simple program needs to be written, then that's fine with me.

ANY tips/information would help
