Hey all.

After 3 years of composing, I've got two brand new albums, fully composed, mixed, and mastered with the Yamaha Motif XS 8.

The first of two albums is City of Lights. You can listen to the entire album here.

I'm very proud of this album in particular. To me, it shows how far along I've come in making music, and think it shows natural maturity from my previous works.

It's already released on Bandcamp, and slated for worldwide release within the next few days, via iTunes, Google Play Music, Amazon, Spotify, Myspace Music, etc.

Let me know what you all think about the music. All feedback is welcome. Thanks!

I listened to a few tracks, despite this being obvious self-promoting near-spam. Have to say it's really well done. Good job. I'm not likely to listen to it repeatedly, just because New Age isn't really my thing, and it all starts sounding a little like elevator music to me after awhile, but I couldn't do as well as you have.

MINE!

You should maybe check out writing out some background music for movies, that type of music would be perfect for that, just my 2 cents..

I dig New Age. The Promise from the album The Piano is one of my favs. I discovered it on Pandora. Speaking of Pandora, if you can get that on Pandora you might find some more listeners. That's how I discover a lot of music.

Oh ya, the cover album's art work is pretty cool. I like the Chinese lanterns.

I did not even know the name of the genre for this type of music, new age from what I learned on this thread, but I really like it.

Nicely done ajm.

I would have liked it ...if only haven't seen the exact same "Hey All After 3 years of composing ...

edit:
On second thought my google foo was way off
It was really just on one other site with same post and not from 3 months ago like I had originally thought.

My apologies

Would you be interested in a very nice looking blog to go along with your music?

the interesting part is his join date is 2007 though. it's not like he just signed up today to sell us ipods.

Pfft! Whatever.

How do you think he should ask for feedback?

I don't know, and don't care. If his stuff is good enough people will find out about it. Not speaking as a mod here, because here I am not a mod 🙂. Generally I find posts like this acceptable when the member has a history, unacceptable when the member has no history, and marginally acceptable when the member has little history but the content is good.

if this were a new account, i would normally agree, but this dude has been around for a while and his posting history suggests a real person who just happens to make music and is looking for feedback.

GOD FORBID AN ACTUAL PERSON TRY TO PROMOTE STUFF THEY CREATED!!!!

now, if someone finds out this is a cleverly disguised spammer account that's been around for almost 6 years just waiting to spring this spam on us, i'll admit i'm wrong...

until then, i like your stuff op. very chill. best of luck to you! 🙂

Six years, nine posts. Hey, I'm not trying to make a big deal about it. I was being honest in my original reply. Ordinarily if I see a "hey check out my [link]" post from an account with 9 posts I'm not going to bother with it. In this case I did. and the guy's stuff was good. If it's his stuff. Or he's a guy. Or even human. Who the hell knows?

Currently listening to My Dream, My Right. Must say I am pleasantly surprised. How did you learn to compose music.
