One more:

...And You Will Know Us By the Trail of Dead - So Divided

Worlds Apart is excellent too and has one of the greatest openings of any album ever in my opinion, but So Divided seems to be a small step above it. I just listened to them back-to-back again and I am quite confident in this statement.

Cake - Fashion Nugget

one of the very few albums where I love every single track on it.

I really like that album, but there are a couple of tracks I find so-so. I think I would place Comfort Eagle a notch or two above Fashion Nugget.

KT

 Comfort Eagle is the better album, and "near perfect".

So I skimmed the entire thread, and I can think of only a few to add to the list:

The Trews - House of Ill Fame
30 Seconds to Mars - ST
Collective Soul - Youth
Queens of the Stone Age - Rated R; Songs for the Deaf
Jamiroquai - Emergency on Planet Earth; Return of the Space Cowboy

I assume this thread is based on personal music taste.

Haven't seen these yet:

Rage Against the Machine - Rage Against the Machine
Queens of the Stone Age - Lullabies to Paralyze (maybe not as perfect as R or Songs)
KMFDM - Angst
Nine Inch Nails - The Downward Spiral
Ministry - The Mind is a Terrible Thing to Taste

Yeah, it has the trifecta of Shadow Stabbing, Short Skirt/Long Jacket, and Commissioning a Symphony in C. Those three alone would make an album worth owning.

And there's a good chance I'll be going to see them again in May

I've always wanted to see them. How are they live?

Worth seeing.
I wouldn't be planning on seeing a second show in as many years otherwise ;)
Plus the last one was the night before my wedding, so the guys went to the concert and the women went elsewhere, so my wife missed out on it. Tickets are under thirty bucks, so that's a plus.

Sweet. Not sure how often they make it up here, but I'll keep my eyes open.

This is an interesting band for me. I have all of their albums, I think, but I never actually go through and listen to any of them from beginning to end, nor do I ever find myself recommending them. However, whenever one of their songs comes on, particulary from those two albums you listed, I almost always say "wow, great song" to myself. It's just strange how I don't really think of them as a band I love or anything.

/mindless rambling.

Brand New - The Devil and God are Raging Inside Me

There are several albums that come so close, but there's always one song that I can't say I absolutely love. This album I love from start to finish, every single song.
