TNT2 > Radeon DDR > Geforce3 > ATI 9500 > ATI 9700 > x800pro > Geforce 7800GTX > x800GTO > Geforce 6800GS > ATI4850 > ATI4550 > ATI 5850

Some of those lower model were for secondary machines/servers etc the gaming progression was more like this:

TNT2 > Radeon DDR > Geforce3 > ATI 9700 > x800pro > Geforce 7800GTX > ATI4850 > ATI 5850

S3 Virge 2MB <<Even Solitaire would stutter

nVidia Riva TNT2 <<Quite impressive for its time

Intel i740 < ¬_¬

XFX Geforce Ti 420 MX <Lame

ATi Mobility Radeon M6 modded to 7000 <Quite impressive for its time

Powercolor Radeon 9700 flashed to PRO <<My eyes popped out

Sapphire Radeon X800XT flashed to PE <<The performance gains were impressive

Gecube Radeon X1950XT AGP oced to 675MHz <<Performance gains were good but the additional eye candy was lovable.

HIS Radeon HD 3850 IceQ3 AGP oced to 820MHz <<Not a huge performance gain but consumed far less power and had consistent performance except when AA was used

MSI Geforce 9600GT << terrible overclocker

PNY Geforce GT240 GDDR5 1GB <<Better than 9600GT specially for PhysX, played COD MW2 like a champ, not too shabby.

Sapphire Radeon HD 4870 w/ MSI Radeon HD 4870 Radial Fan for Crossfire <Great setup wich had some minor microstuttering issues in rare games where scaling wasn't spectacular but not bad either

Laptop with Intel 4500M POS Edition LOLL <<Oh God someone shoot me! It even stutters on Gatling Gears on lowest!!

Gigabyte Radeon HD 6970 Reference << Couldn't be happier
