I'm thinking that if you look real hard, you might find something a tiny bit better than that....:gift:

But the FIC VA-503+ was a great mobo, even if not overclockable! I still have several of 'em.

First PC was a K6-2 400 @ 450 on a PC Chips M598LMR motherboard (that thing SUCKED... no AGP didn't help the situation). My second and current PC is a 2500+\Asus A7N8X Deluxe nForce2 mobo. I had a 2600 in there but sold it and got a much better overclocking 2500+ 🙂.

If you read the news, cpu sales:
Pentiums: 89%
Athlon: 11%

If you read anandtech:
Pentiums: 0.0001%
Athlons: 99%
Craps (cyrix, etc.): 0.9999% (hehe, sorry for cyrix lovers)

So, athlon owners = geeks? hehe, j/k...

By the way, I have:

286
386
486/DX100
Pentium 100
Pentium 166 MMX
Pentium 3 550
Athlon 2600 on ga-n400l1

Which makes a geek as well huh?
I believe in both Intel and Pentiums, although if I have the money I would get intel instead...

My two computers and workstation are all AMD.

1.2Ghz Athlon T-bird build it in May 2001
1.3Ghz Athlon T-bird system I won in July 2001
Dual Opteron 246 just built this week, still havent decided on graphics card though. I was going to build an Intel workstation in August but I held off and decided to build and Opteron Workstation.

More than likely Ill be giving away my 1.2Ghz to my mom, and the 1.3 Ghz to my sister. And Ill build an Athlon 64 FX/Opteron 146 system, if I can scrounge up enough cash.

these are just the ones ive personally used in my own rig, this doesnt count my wifes PC, nor the server or either of the spare pc's (the spare ones are for when friends come over to game 🙂 )

but to be honest most of the ones ive personally used were either used before in one of the other systems, or afterward went to one of the other systems

Let's see if I can remember...
AMD K6-3 400 on an Epox MVP3G-2
Then I had a low-end Duron on a KT133 board; think it was an Abit KT7. I moved from that to a KT7-A (KT133A chipset). Then it was a Palomino 1700 on an 8KHA+ (KT266A). Then I moved to a Tbred 2100 on an Epox 8RDA+.
My secondary system also has a Tbred (1700 though) and an 8RDA+.
My dad's PC is a Tbird 700 on an 8KTA3 (KT133A).
My mom's PC is using an FIC board; it's also a KT133A chipset. It's a Tbird 700 modded to run on a 133 bus, doing 800MHz.

K6-2 350 on unknown chipset.
Athlon 700 on AMD 750
Duron 800@1000 on KT133A and AMD 761 (hybrid w/ 868B soutbridge)
