TV: 27" Wega
Inputs: Panasonic RV31S via component, Dreamcast via s-video

That's it.

I'll buy better speakers + a receiver once I have a place of my own, it's just not an option in my room.

Sony Wega 27"
Harman Kardon AVR-40
Toshiba DVD (not sure of the model number)
Sony 5 disc cd changer
Toshiba VCR
Sony m500 floor speakers (i think that is the right model number0
Cerwin Vega Professional center channel
Pioneer 5.25" Rears

We then ran from an output channel of the Harman Kardon receiver to a Sony Dolby Digital receiver
The Sony Receiver Powers:

2 NHT Floor Speakers
2 NHT Bookshelf Speakers (in the kitchen)

The stereo setup provides for excellent sound throughout the apartment during parties. I'm in college living in an apartment so I've got to have good sound for the parties.

Sony Wega 32"
Sony NV-70
Harman/Kardon AVR 510
Harman/Kardon FL 8380
Harman/Kardon DVD 5
B&W 303's (front and rear)
B&W LCR 3 (center)
Definitive Tech ProSub 100TL
Pronto Remote control

Bought it almost all at once. The only bad component IMO is the CD Changer (FL 8380), but it was the cheapest next to the VCR, so thats not too bad.

nord,

Do you like the DM303's? I just recently upgraded my DM302's and had to choose between the DM303's and Tannoy mX2's. Went with the mX2's. They were a bit more money, but I use them for music a lot and I thought they were better for that.

What's your opinion of the 303's after having used them for a while?

The 303's are great for music, least the type I listen to the most (electronica). The have a very natural tone too them. A little weak in extreme highs (compared to Def Tech bookshelf speakers) but that prevents them from being harsh.

For movies they do a very good job. Very nicely matched with the LCR 3.

I kind of wish I had the money to buy the 600 series for fronts at the time, but my budget was already pressed and the 303's were a very good deal from where I got them.

B&W 600 series. yup. 602's make nice fronts. they pack quite a bit of punch for "bookshelf" speakers. I like listening to music without a sub if possible. My Tannoy's get me closer than the DM302's, but I'm not there yet. Ah well, I'm young. There's time.

The HiFi store I shop at has a 1 year upgrade policy though. You can get full purchase price of your speakers towards brand new speakers anytime in the first year. And you can do this over and over. So I went B&W DM302 --> Tannoy mX2. I'm hoping to go for the 602's next!!

Projection:

120" 4/3 aspect ratio, high gain, projection screen. We went with 4/3 for normal viewing, projector auto switches to 16/9 for DVD's and HDTV.
Sony VPH-D50Q CRT projector with 3 50mm guns for red/green/blue - maximum resolution is 800x600. From our Faroudja line scaler, we ran 5 runs of Audioquest RGB coax (red,green,blue,v-sync,h-sync).

Speakers:

Center: B&W Nautilus HTM1
Front Left & Right: B&W Nautilus 804's
Side Surround Left & Right: B&W Nautilus SCM1
Rear Surround Left & Right: B&W Signature 7NT
Subwoofer: Velodyne HGS-12

The center speaker is inside of a cabinet that spans the entire front of the room. This speaker is located about 1 1/2' below the screen edge. With black-mesh screens over the cabinet openings, most people don't even realize that there is a center. When I pull the magnetized cover off, they're always speechless when they see its size. The center is the most important speaker, and this is a great center speaker. The side surrounds on mounted on the walls directly across from our seating. They're positioned just a bit higher than your ear height when sitting. The rear surrounds are mounted in the ceiling just behind our seating.

We bi-wired every single speaker. We used copper-plated balanced interconnects between our AVP and the AMPs; each cable cost about $200 (at cost), we have 7 total. For speaker cable, we used Audioquest CV-4. The CV-4 cost around $4-5/foot; we ran somewhere around 1000ft (bi-wiring takes a lot of cable).

Misc:
DirectTV Receiver: RCA DTC-100 HDTV
DVD Player: Sony DVP-S7700
VCR: HS-U776
Proceed (Madrigal Labs) AVP
Proceed AMP 2
Proceed AMP 5
Faroudja Line Scaler: DVP-2200

** EDIT **
Anyone notice the Panja/AMX cardcage and touchpanel that are visible in these pictures? :) We've got a nice AMX system setup here; our Landmark file is around 4MB if that means anything to anyone. We also have a dedicated one-way viewpoint for the theater, it's got a bad antenna and is not visible in these pictures.
