Diesel coming off a deuce or a 5-ton just as the sun is coming up on a cool morning. I love the smell of the Army.

haha j/k 😛

I guess it would have to be that "late fall" smell, of falling leaves, and people firing up the wood stove, and a hayride with a bunch of pumpkins and stuff.

do people still go on hayrides these days?

I likes the smell of:
-spring/autumn (like ILikeStuff mentioned there is a 'smell' to the air at certain times of the year in certain temperatures)
-cinnamon
-vanilla
-gasoline
-Old Spice 'Glacial Falls' deodorant/body spray

I love the smell of the crisp cold Autumn air, especially in New England. It snaps you awake in a relaxing way. One of the few things I like about this part of the country.
The scent of grilling meat, don't care what kind, always makes me hungry.
Pretty much all the oils/fluids for a car, except the 'old tyme' steering fluid. I think it used to be made from whale oil or something and it stank horribly.
I have to find out what perfume my co-worker wears, because it makes me wanna hit it.
Garlic anything makes me hungry, but that's probably because I'm Italian.

One other scent that I will always remember was my grandfather's 60's Volvo interior. He used a special cleaner/conditioner on the leather that was just awesome. I guess that one I liked because we always drove to places as a family (Gramps, Dad, Mom, and me) in it when I was growing up.

I love the smell of a new motherboard fresh out of the anti-stat. Also an old Marshall amp when the tubes get hot.

i cant believe that nobody has mentioned freshly copied paper, you know, the stuff thats fresh off the copier, or perhaps the scent of a new newspaper? Or a hot receiver after playing hours of your favorite music.
