I'll be heading down to Century Club in Los Angeles this Sat. and want to know what drinks I should try. I'm usually a beer drinker (Guinness) but since my friends are into beer as heavily as I am, I'll take some shots with them. I've tried several such as Four Horsemen, Three Wisemen, Liquid Cocaine, White Russian, Adios Motherfvcker, etc. but want to try different ones. Suggestions are needed. :D
 

There is only one true mixed drink and it does not contain hard liquor.

Black and Tan :p

(Not supposed to be mixed) ;)

For the lightweights, a B-52 shooter is great...I'l always love a well done martini...white russians are great, but you've already had one...

There are so many...I would just suggest finding liquors you like, and then finding out what drinks they're used in.

OK, try this out. It's something I was introduced to a couple months back :)

Vamp's Blood
2 shots Southern Comfort
2 shots blackcurrent concentrate
Top it up with Cider in a Pint glass.



One night I had 5 of these, 3 over the course of about 2hrs, 2 pints downed, each in one, within 2 mins of each other.

Big mixed drinks:
Long Island Ice Tea
Zombie
Mai Tai

Shots:
Purple Hooter
SoCo + Lime
Patron Silver tequila


Of course, these are fine to order if you're just having fun with friends. If you don't want others to look at you like you're a drunken fratboy, you'll order something more normal.

Also, bartenders get irritated when people keep ordering froofy drinks. It's more work (but tip well and they'll forget they care)

Some good simple drinks:
- Myers and Coke
- Jack and Ginger
- SoCo and Orange / SoCo and Pineapple
- Malibu and Pineapple
- Seven and 7 (Seagram's 7 and 7-up)
- Apple Martini

This one was invented by my friend's friend at uni :)

1/2 Cider, 1/2 Blue WKD, in a 1/2 pint glass

1 bottle of WKD should be able to get you 2 drinks of this :)
