Well which ones have you seen?

I mean there are so manyu:

Rambo (1&2)
Predator
Death Wish (Charles Bronson and this actually may be 70's, I can't recall)
Commando
Missing In Action (Chuck Norris!)
Running Man

That's all I can think of right now, but there are tonnes more. :hmm:

KT

It doesn't matter if I've seen them already. It's been such a long time, that I wouldn't mind watching them again. Except T2. I've watched that movie about 153! times (that's factorial, not exclamation)

Anyone see or plan on seeing I'm still here, the joaquin phoenix "movie"? I'm interested in seeing it but the limited release right now doesn't have any theatres too close to me.

Funny, was just talking about this at work yesterday. I'll be seeing it when it shows up.

The Crazies - 5/10
Saw this a few nights ago. Unimpressed. Started off very strong, got right into things, didn't bore you with much backstory. Its about a town that starts turning into zombies basically, main character is the sheriff, his deputy, and the sheriff's doctor wife. Everything is fun for a while, but then the movie gets stale near the middle. Turns into the usual horror movie we've seen 100 times, and it doesn't improve on anything. Starts getting a little ridiculous. One comment I always heard about this movie was how "its something that could actually happen", making it a better movie. lol that is a pretty silly comment after seeing what happens, and I disagree that this is any more plausible than other zombie-type movies, so that didn't earn any points for me.

If you like horror movies, watch it. If not, don't bother

Winnebago Man - 8/10: A documentary on the apparently famous Winnebago salesman from his video outtakes online (I'd never seen the videos prior to this). The start of the doc is a little odd and I was concerned where it was going, talking about viral videos in general and not really giving any decent insight, but once they tracked down Jack Rebney things became very interesting. He is certainly an interesting character and there are a lot fun and also some touching moments.

Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer - 5/10
: Pretty weak sequel to the original film; the jokes fall even flatter and the plot is weaker. I did like the Silver Surfer, he was pretty damn cool, but Doom is such a crappy character here, it sucked they brought him back at all. I didn't hate it, but it was pretty bland and the whole wedding subplot was obnoxious.

Franklyn - 7/10
: An interesting pseudo-sci-fi psychological drama/thriller. It's a pretty slow burn, but I like that when it's done well and it's done pretty well here, plus it's a very good looking film (not just because Eva Green is in it either  ). The acting is all quite good, even from Ryan Phillipe, though he is probably one of the weakest cast members. I think this is one I will have to re-watch as there is an entire storyline I'm not convinced even needs to be in the film; I can't imagine it was thrown in to just be a red herring, so there is probably something I am missing. There is enough going on that I'll have no problem sitting through this again, plus it means another 90+ minutes of Ms. Green. :awe:

I'm a huge horror fan and I enjoyed this, though it's not great. I'm a fan of Olyphant and I think he's quite good here as usual, but some of the scare tactics are overused. It's much better than the original though.

I said something to that affect. What I meant by saying that is that it was much more plausible than any other Zombie movie to date. Whether it actually is doable is another question, chances are that attempts to do it would likely just make people really stupid.

Machete 6/10

Had some really funny parts and the over the top killing was cool but it just didn't do it that much for me. Of course had tons of bewbies in it but most of it was kind of boring to me.

Cop Out - 0/10 Pure garbage. Has to be one of the worst movies I have ever seen. Weak plot, weak acting...and the jokes...oh the jokes were bad. Not funny at all. Just awful. Was painful to watch and I'm surprised I actually watched the whole thing. Huge disappointment.

Shutter - 9/10 Awesome movie. Freaky and had a great story.
I really loved it when they revealed her sitting on his neck....so cool and eerie
I'd probably give it a 10/10 if it was in English, or if I could understand Japanese. Subtitles always seem to take something away from a movie for me.

Repo Men - 7/10 Good action flick. Not awesome, not bad, just a pretty decent film and enjoyable for the ride.
