I had to look up SJW. I am well behind the times it seems.
OK, spill the beans, what does it mean?
Social Justice Warrior.
I thought I was the only one that didn't know lol.
Interstellar 9/10
My favorite thing about it was the sound design
The no sound in space thing happens through the entire movie, but that part was the coolest. When bad Dr guy on the ice planet docks, and then opens the airlock, everything goes silent. That was incredible. And then they re-pressurize the station, all the alarms come back.
The part that got a point docked was the very ending. Not a bad ending, but a little forced IMO.
Diablo's on my list, brother. Yep, no need to fuel the rampant idiocy going on in this thread. Haters gonna hate is the bottom line and if you can't take my critical analysis of a film, then put me on ignore.you guys need to
1) stop talking about H8
2) watch Diablo (2015)
3) come back and compare the two
Yep also loved Interstellar. It actually makes you think about Intelligent Design and how our creator(s) may have left clues but we just haven't found them yet. As we uncover more into quantum physics, it would be badass if clues were left in that format to guarantee we had reached certain levels of technology first.Yeah. The movie was amazing. Especially the docking sequence after the big twist. The Hans Zimmer score was massively epic right there.
The ending hurts the film.

Here's the music for that scene specifically. One of my favorite parts.
Spectre 4/10 This film actually made me mad because it was a god awful rubbish. How do you go from wholesome gritty Casino Royale to this cartoony piece of crap? I couldn't roll my eyes harder during that whole 'this is why I'm evil' speech cliche.
Also why did the entire complex blow up? What the fvck?
My folks were visiting me and together we wasted about 3 hours on this piece of trash film.
I'm skipping Joy because I freaking loathed Silver Linings Playbook and Joy looks like the same movie. Not a huge David O'Russell or JLaw fan either.
KT
but, that's what makes it a Bond film.Spectre 4/10 This film actually made me mad because it was a god awful rubbish. How do you go from wholesome gritty Casino Royale to this cartoony piece of crap? I couldn't roll my eyes harder during that whole 'this is why I'm evil' speech cliche.
ok .. that was a bit ridiculous. i guess they just wanted to wrap the whole thing up.Also why did the entire complex blow up? What the fvck?
Mountains? Don't you mean "Imperfect Lock" or "No Time for Caution?"

I was referring more to my post than his I guess. "Moutains" belongs to the water planet scene.
Moonrise Kingdom - 9/10 - What a movie by Wes Anderson. Totally captured the innocence and drama that kids experience but in his own way. Also showed how kids without their parents' support (or there at all) can be impacted and that they'll seek attention in other ways. The cinematography was awesome as his films usually are, from vertical scrolling through the house to the lighting and music (like the storm). You really feel for these kids who get dealt some crappy problems like.being sent to an orphanage since your foster parents no longer want you or knowing that your parent is having an affair
