Triangle - 9.5/10 - One of the most intriguing movies I've seen as of late. It's a mindbender about a group of people who go on a yacht trip and a storm wrecks them. They board passing cruise ship and things get crazy from there.

The wife who rarely pays that much attention to movies was engrossed. There was alot of 'I think this is whats happening' type comments during the movie, and it really never went where we thought it was going which was a good thing.

Lost in Translation - 9/10 - I keep missing the first hour when it's shown on TV! I have never seen the first half of this movie, but every time I love the second half every time. Just the interaction between ScarJo and Bill Murray, Japan and Tokyo, it's perfect.

Wreck It Ralph - 7/10. Typical of feel good family oriented movie from Disney. I give it a few extra points due to the cameo roles of several well know video game characters. Very nice looking visual but not as pretty looking as the first Cars.

Man With Iron Fists - 7/10. If you watched the old Kung Fu movies from USA network at noon on Sundays in the mid 80s to 90s, then this movie is just like those movies but with higher budget and more wire fu moves. R rated but no nudie.

Atlas Cloud - 7.5/10. It is a strange movie. No, a strange collection of 6 mini movies/stories/characters intertwined together (1800's in a sea going ship, 1970's in US, 2100's in Korea, and 106 years after the nuclear melt down). Several actors/actresses play different roles in different time lines. I like the one in Korea the most except the slant eyes for white actors - made them looked like Spock.

Breaking Bad 9.7/10

started watching it a few days ago and am at Season 1, Episode 7. Man, what a great series. Watched 3 episodes in a row. I have not been drawn into a miniseries in a very long time. In the last 10+ years, this and Game of Thrones have revived my faith in television. I love HBO.

I thought this movie was pretty cool too. I saw it a year or two ago, and had since forgotten about it till now. Glad you posted the review so others can check it out if they haven't seen it already. It's definitely worth a watch.

The Hunger Games - 6/10

Not much going on and while i do not have ADHD i felt it was a little so, er there was not a lot happening. I also think they did not explain enough. I did not understand that only the capital was rich and the other 11 districts were poor. My friend says this was explained in the movie, did i miss it? I think this felt like a LOTR movie, okay but i want the full story, not just this beginning. I want to see the demise of the capital or the games or whatever happens, not just surviving the game.

Do I need to watch The Human Centipede 1 before I see 2? (assuming I see either at all)

The acting at the beginning of Human Centipede 1 is horrendous but the concept and the bad guy make up for it. There is not a lot of torture porn (as it is call) but the theme of the movie is good. What define existence? If you cannot talk and are attached to someone else is that worse than dying? I have not seen the second one, i hear that one is a torture porn type horror film.

I saw some ugly things in Kosovo and frankly dont find torture movies nor modern grisly action flicks to be particularly entertaining.

Did you see Eastern Promises? It's grisly at times but it really held my interest. "Entertaining" isn't exactly what I look for in art, moreso inspiration, but that's not usually on the menu unfortunately.

Haven't started it yet, I'm in the queue for Season 1 disk 1 at my local library. Are ensuing seasons as good as the first?

Just finished Brave (2012). The wife and I loved it. Not really for kids... 8/10.

Brave - 7/10
It's a good movie, but it wasn't as good as other pixar movies. Out of all them I think this one is the weakest.

Suits (tv series) 8/10
It's a surprisingly good show. It focus more on each characters interaction rather than the court cases, which I like.

Lincoln Lawyer 6/10
It was decent, the plot's rather predictable.

Sherlock (TV series Season 1-2) 9/10
This is a very good show. there's 3 episode in each season, and each episode is like 1.5 hr long. All of them are good except for one which I felt was weak compare to others.

Ya, I saw it also. I'd give it more of a 5/10. Wasn't that interesting. You learned about it but it wasn't much more fascinating than if you just found an origami forum and started reading.

For example, I thought poker chips were simple. Turns out there is a niche for them also.

Meh, I would have much rather watched the movie then going to a forum to read.

The guy who formulated the fold/cut theorem reminded me of Sheldon from Big Bang Theory.

Bernie 9/10

Kept me interested the whole way through. Excellent way to make this kind of movie. I was surprised to find that
it was based on a real person / case
.

[edit]
Changed my rating from 8 to 9 after watching it again. This movie was even better the second time.

Season 2 was better than 1 I'd say. I'm only at the very beginning of Season #3 now, so I can't yet comment on it. I believe it's up to season #5 or #6 now? Not sure about that.

Awesome show though!

I finally saw the new Coma.
It sucks ass.

Do yourself a favor and see the Micheal Crichton version, then call it a day.

I'm not even going to bother with reviews and scores.
