• We’re currently investigating an issue related to the forum theme and styling that is impacting page layout and visual formatting. The problem has been identified, and we are actively working on a resolution. There is no impact to user data or functionality, this is strictly a front-end display issue. 1) Put the forum categories above the buddy list like it was before... there's no reason to have to scroll down half a page to get there

2) Make said buddy list/categories a lot less wide so it doesn't take up a 1/3rd of the page real estate which it doesn't even use fully because it truncates the names anyway..

3) Fix the themes so we don't have to use the default theme to have a presentable UI.

4) Fix the thread subscriptions

5) Fix the search... pipe dream I know

6) Make the avatar/member info on each post a lot smaller, why is it so huge compared to the body of the post you make? Lots of wasted space here too..

7) Make the topics have a 'visited' color after you click on them because it's impossible to see where you've been

8) Make the 'My Forums' by default go to 'My Latest Posts' like it used to be.. now you're presented with a completely useless screen and you have to click through to find what you want

There are more but I have a feeling not too many of these issues will actually be addressed.

From what I've read elsewhere, it's sending PM's or emails for every reply that's added to a thread, not the first one since you last read it.

Zuni said in another thread that the search was indexing and would take a while. Take that for what it's worth.

 
Another thing I've noticed is that occasionally my arrow keys stop working for scrolling through threads. IE7, Vista, AT forums is the only place it happens.

As much as I agree with you, we're not going to catch very many flies without honey it seems.

I just can't believe they charge ~4500 for this software.. 🙁

Derek... I take it you work for FT? Please fix all these things, if not for AT then for your other clients.. it's just not right to sell your product in this condition.

Make it so you can go to any page of a thread from the 'My Latest Posts' page.

Now if you want to see if there are any responses to a post of yours you have click through 3 pages to get there.

Why is the icon infront of each thread showing "new posts". "sticky" etc SO FREAKING HUGE compared to the text in the topic title?
That's got to change.
