Speaking of actors and celebrities...Marco Rubio sneers at Eva Longoria's DNC speech
Tim Allen was great in Galaxy Quest. Seems he basically plays himself there, a self-obsessed douchebag. Maybe that's why the role works so well for him.Never watched an entire episode. Never found Tim Allen funny.
You accidentally posted one entry twice.Anal Cancer

Rubio -- open mouth insert foot.....Speaking of actors and celebrities...Marco Rubio sneers at Eva Longoria's DNC speech
Rubio - "Brilliant move! No one is more in touch with the challenges & obstacles faced by everyday Americans than actors & celebrities."
Then....The entire internet reminds him who the Republicans’ own actual presidential candidate is.

Despite him being an asshole I still watch his show Last Man Standing. When Fox took it over it became decidedly even more right from the get go. I don't wait impatiently for every new episode like I did for The Big Bang Theory or Marvel AoS, but we do watch it when we are bored, it has some funny stuff in it.
I'm bored, so I feel like making a list.
Victoria Jackson
- short blonde SNL actor, never did much after that. She is currently starring in a movie called "Liberalism is a Dirty Disease"
Mel Gibson
- We all know what he's like today, but for the 80's and most of the 90's nobody knew his politics
Scott Baio
- Again, we know now, but for years he never hinted at any political leanings, much less ultra-conservative nonsense. Same as.....
Kirk Cameron
- I never followed celeb gossip as a child, also I didn't like Growing Pains, but apparently he became a born again christian was back then and was harassing the cast and crew all day for years on end. I think he got a cast member kicked off for having a baby out of wedlock, or some bullshit.
Adam Baldwin
- The non-Baldwin brother. He switched to extreme conservative views after reading one book, and allegedly harassed women during the gamergate debacle, to the point where he was banned from sci-fi conventions (you may recall him as the tall man on Firefly)
Kirstie Alley
- Also famous for not speaking her views until very recently. If her Twitter is any indication, she's a conspiracy nut as well.
The main reason these people surprised me is until I saw something about them (mostly during the Trump years) on the news I had no idea they kept extreme conservative beliefs. I actually miss the days before social media, when unpleasant information about celebs wasnt being forced on me every time I checked out the internet.
Others are sad but not surprising, like Micheal Bay, Jerry Bruckheimer, James Caan, Adam Carolla, Jon Cryer, Bo Derek, Clint Eastwood, Lou Ferrigno, Kelsey Grammer, Dennis Hopper, Patricia Heaton, and Heather Locklear.
The most glaring example is abortion. Conservatives and liberals certainly have different ultimate goals on that subject.I'm not entirely convinced that's the case.
It's not just that the modern Republican party and its diehard supporters treat politics like a game, where it's more important to win than to actually govern (see: voter suppression), it's that there's an open contempt for people you just don't see in... well, most political parties around the world.
Think about it: Republican governors not only reopened economies prematurely knowing how deadly it would be, but have been eager to cut support for out-of-work people to unsustainably low levels. Then there's denying climate science and explicitly pushing for environmental deregulation that they know will kill people. And let's not forget staples like blocking gun violence research (because that could easily show a need for more gun control).
The Democrats, for all their faults, at least seem to treat governing as a serious responsibility and see their goal as making the country better for everyone. Right now, Republicans seem to treat governing as a way to help only themselves... and the scary thing is that they're genuinely willing to end lives deemed to be 'burdens,' no matter how hard-working or promising those people might be.
Too bad, I really liked her on SNL back in the day.Victoria Jackson got me to ignore everything she does when I heard a stern show interview with her a long time ago.
She basically said I send my kids to private school and I don’t want to pay for poor kids to go to public school. Fuck them they should have known not to be poor.
Pure deplorable logic before the deplorable word was used.
What "decent" things has she voted against? I am not aware that she is in a political position to actually "vote" on anything. If she votes AGAINST all the "decent" things she believes in due to a single issue then that sounds like she's a pretty shit person to me.
Gee, I can't fathom why the OP struggles so much connecting with women in real life. I've never encountered someone more obsessed with celebrities. He's like an even lamer version of the douchebag bros that had all those "OMFG _____ is so bangable, look she wore a shirt and her nipples are poking through!!!!!!!!!! OH FUCK I'M CUMMING!!!!" blogs or the others that were just trying to constantly shit on celebrities for being normal people or ever doing stupid stuff.
Why? Its about the most generic sitcom on TV (as has been all of his). My Mom watches that some. She's in her sixties. She also watches that one with the 70s show rapist and Ashton Kutcher, and that show is basically the dramatic version of the Tim Allen one.
Oh, I see, your taste in sitcoms is shit.
Well, maybe he should not have been doing it in the first place. Then he would not have had to make that choice.Pffffft, you're telling me you would take life in prison vs. providing names of dealers?
Sure buddy, sure
Your mouth would open so fast....
Well, maybe he should not have been doing it in the first place. Then he would not have had to make that choice.
Whooosh! What "decent" things has she voted against? I am not aware that she is in a political position to actually "vote" on anything.
We all make mistakes - it's just for some reason when it comes to rappers that grew up with shit life of crimes people praise it for them turning around - but if a random white guy does it people seem to think differently for some odd reason?
He turned his life around and went from being shit to society, to making people laugh and paying huge sums of tax revenue.
