is there a list of multithreaded apps out there anywhere so i can see what benefit an x2 chip would offer?

Photoshop, including the cheaper Photoshop Elements (I use the free version 2.0)
Pinnacle Studio 9.
Digital Media Converter (A shareware app that converts video files)

Virtual Dub

not sure on Ad-aware, Ace Utilities, Spy Swwper, Hijack This
not sure on FRAPS
Not sure on Winamp, WMP, Divx player, Realplayer, Quicktime...

yes, but it wont use the 1st core then.

Audio encoding

Video encoding/editing

Math apps

Software compilers

Games

Archiving

etc,....you get the point....I have a whole list of verified programs...many not on that list...

Let me know who is going to start this endeavor...
