Here they are, the ones im interested in 🙂
I dont need raid 🙂, and i dont really care all that much for overclocking 🙂

LEADTEK 7350KDA --- I like the onboard nic 🙂 ---98$ plus shipping
SHUTTLE AK31A --- I like the price 🙂 ----80$ plus shipping
IWILL XP333 --- I like the good onboard sound 🙂 ----99$
EPOX EP-8K7A --- I like the price 🙂 ---77$ plus shipping
EPOX EP-8KHA+ --- ive heard about it 98$ plus shipping
Gigabyte GA-7VTX-H --- i like the onboard sound(not ac97) and the onboard lan! -----110$ plus shipping

Which one>>>??????
I dont know, they all look great! 😀

EPOX EP-8KHA+ I have that one now and like it.

A question you should ask yourself or try to see if something is around on the hardware sites is the CPU utilization on the onboard NIC's, better or worse than a PCI NIC ( I'm pretty sure the PCI is better) . If you already have a NIC or two why get the onboard NIC unless you plan to LAN or for cable/DSL that as a router or something for another computer to use DSL/cable for internet.

Same goes with the sound, if you like your sound card already in the computer and it's a good one why go with onboard, will use more CPU than a PCI, unless it's the nForce chipset than nevermind 🙂

IMO I am avoiding via chipsets, but no need to list the obvious and well documented reasons...

1) I would go with the iwill board, regardless of onboard sound...Is it a 5.1 channel onboard sound like that one kt266 board??? If so I heard pretty good things about it.

2) The leadtek is way to high priced for the sis chipset...The biggest feature of the leadtek is a bit more oc friendly and you have already stated that...A sound card is a lot bigger saving then a nic card anyways, most likely that is and especially if 5.1 sound.

3) If you want to go via I would get the shuttle, since a) you don't need raid b) they all run within percentage points of each other c) it is a great price...

4) I wouldn't even look at the epox 8K7a.....

I`ve had my Epox 8KHA+ board for over two months now and have yet to have a problem with it, if you want one of the best VIA KT266A boards then IMHO it`s the one to buy.

🙂

Gigabyte GA-7VTX-H

Stability is what I like. 😉

I'll agree with the Gigabyte GA-7VTX-H. It actually has nice overclocking features as well now.

Another vote for the Gigabyte GA7VTXH.
Solid as a rock for me.
I bought a K7S5A due to my bad experiences with Via in the past.
Took a gamble when the KT266A boards came out and got the Gigabyte and havent looked back since.
Via's back in my good books 😀

A vote for the Soltek which isn't on your list. Many sites including Tomshardware.com have rated this as the best kt266a mobo available. You can find it on newegg.com for $99.
