I'd like to recommend that everyone here go out and buy Liquid Bandage from Band-Aid. They saved me from bleeding to death yesterday. I was bending a little piece of aluminum sheet. Now this stuff acquires a sharp, serrated edge when cut with my shears. My finger slipped and the damn thing cut a straight gash on the side of my middle finger. Liquid Bandage to the rescue. I dabbed it on with the applicator thing, and no more bleeding, and the wound was sealed perfectly. I could even type with the finger.

Then, when I was moving the aluminum, my left knuckles brushed the aluminum, and I thought I just got a scratch.... until I saw big drops of blood on my hand! Once again, Liquid Bandage pulled through, even on folding knuckle skin.

The liquid bandage syndicate has another victim of their merciless propaganda machine....

This stuff sounds pretty sweet, but I don't cut myself enough to need to buy any.

Let's hear it for modern medicine!

I like the new-generation bandaids that you don't have to take off for a week. Those are nice too.

Instead of focusing on Liquid Bandage, you should be examining why you're such a hopeless spazz.

BAND-AID® Brand Liquid Bandage is used to cover and protect minor cuts and scrapes. To determine if you should use Liquid Bandage on your cut, use the same judgment as you would when applying an adhesive bandage. If the surface area of the cut or scrape is larger than a child's knee, or if the wound is so deep that you can see down to the fatty tissue, consult a physician. If a physician's attention is not necessary, consider using First Aid products instead. If the wound is severely bleeding, you must get the bleeding under control first before applying Liquid Bandage. Do not use Liquid Bandage on burns or wounds with active signs of infection. In case of deep or puncture wounds, animal bites or serious burns, consult a doctor.

BAND-AID® Brand Liquid Bandage is a cyanoacrylate film with low tensile strength. If you place the material between your thumb and finger and hold it for 2 minutes you will still be able to pull your fingers apart. This is not possible with DERMABOND®. For cuts requiring stitches, ask your doctor about DERMABOND® or visit www.dermabond.com.

Is that from a movie or something? Or do both of you display an abnormal case of great minds thinking alike?

I'm with the great minds think alike thing ;)

I just hope you cleaned it well first, or sealing it like that will give you one NASTY infection.

Dermabond is the best ever.

Liquid bandage is just a nontoxic superglue mixed with Neosporin.

Thats what I used to make for biking trips, when Id get all cut up from brush and whatnot. I'd apply Neosporin, and then a layer of nontoxic superglue. The Neosporin heals it, and the superglue makes sure nothing can get in the cut. try it out sometime... its definately cheaper.

That liquid skin stuff takes forever to dry. I sometimes prefer to leave wounds open, it adds a bit of "ruggedness" to my otherwise harmless profession.
